American Tribal Style belly dance is an exciting and exotic fusion of dance movements and costuming inspired by entertainers from India, North Africa, the Middle East, and Spain. Posture, costuming and musical choices distinguish Tribal Style from other forms of belly dance. Because of these fundamental differences, the Tribal Style excels in the development of self-confidence, strength, camaraderie, awareness of self and others, and being in the moment.

Adriana Marrelli has performed throughout California since
the age of four and has been teaching dance since 1998.
She is an avid student and teacher of Middle Eastern and
Latin dances. Adriana has performed:

Adriana studied rare folkloric Cuban dances. In addition to
her career as an individual dance stylist, Adriana has directed
several dance troupes and performed with dance companies
including: Suhaila Dance Company; Bal-Anat; the Nekyia.
